1、 Preparation before operation

1. Before the performance, the lighting operators should first read the script, and have a deep understanding of the scene, characters, plot and action, so as to better understand the intention of lighting design.

2. Secondly, you should participate in the rehearsal of each play, even if the time is tight. During the rehearsal, you should pay attention to the movements and expressions of the actors, listen to the lines and music in the program, and remember every detail in the rehearsal process.

3. Read the lighting design book carefully and discuss with the designer to make the implementation and operation of the design book concrete. During the stage arrangement, there may be some changes in the design book, and the changes shall be recorded in time.

4. Install according to the lighting installation list in the design book. The installation is usually carried out the day before the rehearsal, and the operator can consider adopting a more convenient method for installation.

2、 Practical operation

1. Operation of footlights: the height of footlights is generally fixed, but the height of some song and dance programs needs to be adjusted properly. If footlights are not used, they can be stored.

2. The operation of top light arrangement - adjust the height of the top light according to various stage devices and different scenes. Recently, electric adjustment has been adopted and can be stored by computer. Every scene can be adjusted accurately.

3. Operation of band lamp no matter where the band lamp is hung, the angle and height of the hanging should be paid attention to first. For example, when it is hung on the top lattice window, it has different effects to tilt 45 degrees or 90 degrees to the lower part. Whether it is facing the interior or exterior scenes of the house, it should have a tilt angle. The height of the suspension and the distance from the background or the sky curtain should be in accordance with the position specified by the designer. 4. Operation of spotlight - the following points should be noted in operation of Spotlight:

The light source of a spotlight is usually set on the optical axis of the lens (i.e. the central line).
Put the light source on the focus of the spherical mirror.
Make the plane of the filament of the bulb parallel to the lens.

5. Operation of arc spotlight and xenon spotlight

After the arc is fully stable, open the aperture to cast light.
